Do you love working outdoors in Kiwifruit Orchards?

Thompson’s Horticulture is looking for additional people to join our local crews in Gisborne.

We can offer you:

Start date - Approx. October
On-the-job training
Pay rate - Minimum $23.50 - $28 (based on the experience you bring to the role)
Transport to work (depending on availability)

We're heading into our Spring/Summer season so duties will include bud thinning, flower picking, summer pruning and thinning.

Ideally you will have:

1+ years' experience working in the orchards, however this is not essential as training will be available
demonstrated reliability, determination and motivation
a strong team focus
the legal right to work in NZ

Whilst these positions are predominantly seasonal casual positions, there are opportunities to continue on to the next season. In addition, we look to our casual team when any permanent or fixed term contracts become available.

We're also keen to add to our crew van drivers pool - we'd love to hear from you if you have a full drivers license and you're keen to help transport our crews to and from work.
